What is codeine

Codeine is an opioid analgesic, which functions in the brain to control how your body feels and reacts to pain. Most times, Codeine can be combined with other drugs to be used as a cough suppressant and painkiller.

If you check the combination of some migraine medications, you will see the inclusion of the Codeine ingredient. Usually, Codeine is not meant for long-term use. In addition, it cannot be used to treat moderate to mild pain.

Effects of Codeine
